Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries

SUMMARY

\n \n \nGenesis is a book of origins: of the world, of sin, of Gods promise of redemption, and of the people of Israel. It traces Gods pledge to send a Saviour through Abrahams line down to his great-grandson Judah. It is foundational for the New Testament and its teaching that Jesus is the fulfilment of Gods promise to save humankind from sin and death. Andrew Steinmanns thorough exegetical commentary includes a reconstructed timeline of events from Abrahams life through to the death of Joseph. \n \n \n \n \n
