Darkness and Dramas 9781036715083 Paperback

A long-lost play, a disastrous rehearsal, and a critic no one will miss even without magic, Agnes Hale knows this performance wont end well.I didnt believe the play was real, and I definitely didnt expect the evening to end in murder. When the entire book club is invited to a rehearsal of a newly discovered play by Shakespeare, Im curious enough to go, even if I dont believe a word of the story behind it.The evening goes downhill quickly when Greymoure Glens least popular newspaper critic starts laughing just a few lines into the performance. Tempers flare, people walk out, and before long, he does the same. Not long after, hes found dead in a dumpster outside the theater. At this point, I probably shouldnt be surprised to find myself caught up in another murder investigation.Bert Kristal didnt lack for enemies, and between his reviews, his reputation, and the complicated state of his personal life, there are more suspects than seems entirely reasonable. The sheriff has questions, the town has opinions, and my cat Rover seems to think I should be paying closer attention.Which means its time to see what everyone else is missing.Darkness and Dramasis the fourth book in the Agnes Hale Book Club Cozies series, perfect for readers who love Lucy Connelly, Leena Clover, and paranormal cozy mysteries set in small towns.
